All my uplifting stories are sanitized version;

Beyond those…. there prevails the unveiled raw portion.

When I think of it, it makes me want to bite the dust.

It is full of blunders….makes me feel worst.

At times, it even pushed me out of game and weed out.

It’s so discouraging; always my memory tries to blot out.

It’s so difficult to digest and nauseating;

I’m trying hard to figure out, why it’s so unappetizing?

Am I indicted of a highest crime because of a wrongdoing?

Feel like I’m at the end of the road, unable to keep moving.

When I screw up, the world stamps me as a symbol of failure.

Each and every turn hits me hard and warns off from venture.

I started confining to the cocoons of the “Tried & Tested”;

My inner voice shouts out that my potential is getting rusted.

The Tapestry of world history has pages only for heroes:

Their calibrations are totally skewed up and repudiate the zeroes.

Flurry of thought started gyrating;

Visualizing the spiralled circles…but I’m not fainting.

Always winners embark on a tumultuous journey.

Post failures, charted their own destiny;

Without misfortunes, there is no scope for heroism.

Life can’t be straight parallel lines like trapezium.

If it has curves and pitfalls, don’t lose your enthusiasm.

Fears of failure instilled in my mind part of my upbringing;

It doesn’t mean that I should get struck and stop thinking.

Let me not see only the surface of the deep-down treasure.

If I can’t leap, I’m ready to roll down and measure.

Let the each falling step strengthen my convictions.

Yet my realisation might not be the culmination of revelations.
